As the number of vaccinations continues to increase, many families felt it was safe to gather for a Passover seder. Some came together in-person, while others met through Zoom. There are many traditions that are celebrated during the seder, one being having a Seder plate like the one pictured above.
Families gather for Passover celebration
This is called a seder plate which is used on Passover. Each food is symbolic to the story of Passover. For example, parsley is a bitter herb and bitter herbs represent the bitterness of slavery.
Adapting to Passover in quarantine
Due to the current pandemic, families will be celebrating Passover Seder with family and participating in traditional services virtually, utilizing platforms like Zoom.
