In early January, the Westport Library announced that it was given a 5-star rating from the Public Library Service’s 2022 “Library Journal Index.” The Westport Library was the only Connecticut library to be awarded one. Originally a reading room in 1886, the library has only grown and expanded in recent years, even receiving renovations in 2019 to revise the library space.
