      Remote proctoring | 3:00 p.m. | Julia Svec’s Per Remote proctoring | 3:00 p.m. | Julia Svec’s Period 1 AP Spanish Literature class has taken an assessment for the State of Connecticut Seal of Biliteracy Achievement Award. In order to qualify as a candidate for the seal, students took a world language assessment called Avant STAMP 4S, which was proctored live by Proctortrack proctoring. It assesses the categories of reading, writing, listening and speaking. The minimum score needed to be awarded candidacy is a “5” (Intermediate-mid) in each of the categories.       Domestic air travel | 2:00 p.m. | The Center for D Domestic air travel | 2:00 p.m. | The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recently announced that fully vaccinated individuals (those who are two weeks or more after their last COVID-19 vaccine dose) who travel domestically do not need to quarantine for two weeks before or after their trip, or provide a negative test result before or after traveling. Because of this new guidance, certain individuals are currently taking advantage of air travel (with health and safety precautions), but the real increase in travel is projected to occur in summer 2021. Incoming freshman are required to put down their deposits for the school they will be attending in the fall.       Music at MoCA | 7:42 p.m. | The Museum of Contempo Music at MoCA | 7:42 p.m. | The Museum of Contemporary Art in Westport began their summer concert series with pop artist Matt Nakoa on Friday night. Audience members brought lawn chairs and were able to purchase dinner from the Valencia Luncheria food truck. Students celebrated their heritage by repping their country’s flag colors. The day was changed from USA day to nationality day during spirit week last year to become more inclusive of all heritages.       Il Pastaficio | 3:10 p.m. | New Italian restaurant Il Pastaficio | 3:10 p.m. | New Italian restaurant, Il Pastaficio, is set to open in downtown Westport, right next to Oddz.
