Sophie Driscoll ’19 is one of the two editors-in-chief of Inklings, and is taking Advanced Journalism for her fourth year in a row. She is drawn to it because it has played an integral role in her high school career, training her and honing her journalism skills to the eventual caliber of chief. Driscoll also views Inklings as a community that caters to an array of passions and interests. “I think Inklings is a great opportunity to explore something that you might not necessarily associate with journalism,” Driscoll said. “It has allowed me to explore my passion for politics.” For Driscoll, this passion consists of both local and national politics, and she enjoys the overcross between journalism and politics that she has been able to cultivate. Driscoll looks forward to a productive and successful year of Inklings production.
