Jason Stein ’22, Staff Writer

Founder of the Chess club at Staples High School, Jason Stein ’22 was looking for an opportunity to integrate his two passions: chess and journalism. “In our chess club, we put out weekly chess-related news on our discord,” Stein said, “trying to engage people in a different way.”

The self-proclaimed chess expert joined Inklings in the hopes of combining these two things and introducing them to Inklings. 

“I would love to write opinions and even news stories regarding chess in Inklings,” he said. “No one has done that before and I would like to be the first one.”
