There is no place Roxy Augeri ’20 would rather be than in the Inklings room, enhancing the work of writers. Augeri is the paper features editor for the red staff, who aspired to take part in the production of the school newspaper before she even stepped foot in Staples.
The Inklings’ veteran always knew she was a talented writer, but she wanted to use her skills altruistically and help others achieve their best work.
Now having obtained the editor position for a year, Augeri believes that, “taking someone under your wing and helping them improve is something that’s so important.”
Likewise, the junior strives to bring awareness to writers on a global scale. Outside of Inklings, Augeri is a teen board member of an upcoming book festival called the Saugatuck Story Fest. In October, writers from around the world will attend the local festival and share their stories.
