Web Managing Editor, Elliot Kaufman ’19 didn’t like writing until he discovered Inklings. Originally Kaufman wasn’t interested in Inklings. He was under the impression that all writing was purely academic.
However, following a suggestion from his brother who regretted not joining Inklings sooner, Kaufman discovered that writing was more than he expected and enjoyed it more than he thought he ever could.
Following his discovery of that passion, Kaufman was so enthusiastic that he dropped another class just to take Advanced Journalism his sophomore year. “I decided to jump into Advanced Journalism [early], that was really exciting.”
