Westport First Selectman Gordon Joseloff declared today at 6 p.m. this CodeRed update:
“As of 5 p.m. today, after conferring with Emergency Management Director Andy Kingsbury, I have declared a Local Civil Preparedness Emergency. Under the authority granted by this decree, I am tonight strongly recommending shoreline Westport residents in flood-prone areas evacuate their homes on Sunday before nightfall.”
