On Friday, March 16, the Staples Junior Statesmen of America club hosted its first ever dodgeball tournament. Over a dozen student dodgeball teams hashed it out in the gym and fieldhouse to compete for seven tickets to the upcoming Avicii concert. The winning team – “Dodge City” – consisted of Emerson Lovell ’12, Kyle Mikesh ’12, Marc Himmel ’12, Zach Levins ’12, Aiden McConnell ’12, Kenzie Roof ’12, and Danielle Kosinki ’12.
Half of the money raised will be donated to the CROP walk to end hunger in local communities, and the other half will help Staples JSA attend more events throughout the northeast.
