Nile Jean ’24, Staff Writer

Everyone has a different motivation to join Inklings — Staff Writer Nile Jean ’24 endeavors to hone his writing skills.

“I thought journalism would be a really good class when I started writing larger essays,” Jean said. “I decided taking journalism would strengthen my writing abilities a bit more.”

Jean has stuck with Inklings since taking Introduction to Journalism as a freshman. While science is his favorite subject at Staples, he is searching for excellence in journalism this year.

“I’ve got an A, but I’ve never gotten an A-plus before,” Jean said. “That’s a goal that I want to achieve.”
