This year there were over 100 ‘makers’ who chose to exhibit the fruits of their tinkerings at one of the many booths, which were stationed either inside the library or on Jesup Green.

On Saturday April 25, the Westport Public Library held the fourth annual Westport Mini Maker Faire on Jesup Greene. The Maker Faire gives Westport residents, students and anyone else with a ‘do-it-yourself mindset’ the opportunity to show off their unique creations, which range from robots to giant handbags.

Crowds gathered around to see creations like a go-kart which was powered by the air and a robot that stacked moving crates, while children galloped happily around Jesup Green playing life-sized foosball and listening to music.
