Paper Editor Jasper Hultgren ’28 joined Introduction to Journalism because of his love for writing and encouragement from his sister, who was already part of Inklings. After enjoying it, he decided to continue into Advanced Journalism. 

“I really like learning about global conflicts and politics because I find it interesting how different countries interact and how to solve global disputes,” Hultgren said.

Hultgren sees journalism as more of a personal passion than a career path. His real dream is to become an author. 

“I really want to write a book when I’m older,” Hultgren said, “but it’s a hit-or-miss job.”
