An early morning three-car pileup on I-95 involving a tractor-trailer shut down two lanes causing more than four miles of traffic for commuters on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The crash, reported just after 7 a.m., happen ed between exits 18 and 19. This southbound crash caused the right and center lanes to be closed causing significant delays for students and teachers.
“I take I-95 everyday to school and this morning what is usually a 15-20 minute drive took 45 minutes due to traffic from the accident,” Capri DiVincenzo ’28 said.
Police have reported that there have been no injuries to anyone involved in the accident. There has also been no reported cause of the crash.
“My mom and I were really confused because usually I have little to no traffic on the way to school,” Luka Kuokalas ’27 said, “but it was backed up and added an extra 20 minutes.”
