Jesse Greenspun

Jesse Greenspun, Web Sports Editor

While many teens binged on Netflix and lay on the beach this summer, Jesse Greenspun ’16 flew almost 5,000 miles to Germany to play hockey.

Greenspun has been on the Staples Boys’ Ice Hockey team since Freshman year and also plays for the Wizards hockey team in Bridgeport. “I like how when you’re playing you don’t have to worry about homework and stuff. You just focus on what you’re doing [on the ice],” Greenspun said.

He is also a Kool 2 Be Kind member, golfer, dog lover, and Rangers fan.

In terms of academics, Greenspun hates math and generally does not prefer social studies, with the exception of AP European History. However, he has always enjoyed English classes and writing.

“I joined Inklings because I wanted to be able to chose what I was writing about so that I could write about what I’m interested in,” Greenspun said.
