Jess Leon ’22, Staff Writer

Jess Leon ’22, Staff Writer and captain of the Staples girls’ field hockey and lacrosse teams, seeks leadership responsibility and enjoys being a role model to others.

“I’m excited to be captain because in the past, all the captains have been such strong leaders, and everyone looks up to them, so I’m excited to be that for younger grades,” Leon said. 

Leon’s friend’s love for Inklings pushed her to join, and she found that it fits her free-spirited personality well. 

“I like to go with the flow,” she said. “And this class gives me the opportunity to do so.”
