Young Westporters often attend camps like RECing crew or Mahackeno, creating new friendships during the summer. Yet while other fourth graders begged for a playdate with their new friends after camp, at age nine, Sarah Marron ’24 was gifted with a seven-week sleepover with her camp friends, no begging necessary.

Marron, Web Sports Editor, first attended Lake Bryn Mawr six years ago, and she has never got bored.

“There’s a bunch of traditions that we take part in,” Marron said. “You also always meet new friends.”

Marron returned this year despite COVID.

“It was my last year,” Marron said, “so it was really special.”
