For Staff Writer Caroline Coffey ’22, journalism is in the family.
“My grandfather, [...] he wrote about the Boston Red Soxs, a Sports Reporter, and so he met all the greats — Ted Williams, Babe Ruth — and my mom was also interested in it too,” Coffey said.
In her spare time, Coffey is an athlete herself, riding horses and playing softball, and like journalism, horseback riding started off as a family affair.
“My mom rode when she was a kid,” Coffey said. “There’s a farm in Southport and I just fell in love with the horses.”
