On Oct. 29, the Parks and Recreation Department, Downtown Merchants Association and Westport PAL teamed up to host the annual Halloween Spectacular. Children and parents clad in costumes ranging from superheroes to winged-monkeys trick-or-treated through the streets of downtown Westport from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Concluding the festivities was a celebration on the green across from Town Hall where kids danced to tunes from the DJ’s Music Mania and snacked on cookies and juice.
