For Assistant Business Manager Sydney Cordella ’28, Inklings is all in the family.
“Both my sisters, Riley and Ava, did it, and they said it was a really cool community, and that it’s good to get yourself involved in general,” Cordella said.
Beyond Inklings, Cordella enjoys travelling and drawing connections to the language she is learning atStaples: Latin.
“This summer, I visited Capri in Italy which was a cool experience,” she said. “I got to learn a lot about the history which was there, […] and I got to use my Latin knowledge to learn about the history of the island.”

Paper Editor Katie Brill ’28 has wanted to be a part of Inklings since she was in middle school.
“In middle school I was always interested in English,” Brill said. “Freshman year I decided to take Intro to Journalism and really enjoyed that, so I decided to take Advanced Journalism and join Inklings.”
In her free time, Brill loves to dance. She has been dancing since she was little and is even starting a dance team at Staples.
“I’ve been dancing since I was around three,” Brill said. “I’m super excited to start the dance club here at Staples.”
