Katie Simons ’22, Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief Katie Simons ’22 has found her niche in the field of journalism, her interest blooming at a young age.  

“Growing up, my dad had a subscription to The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times,” Simons said. “I grew up around journalism and newspapers.”

While Simons was first reluctant to join Inklings, the community she found tempered her doubts. Simons has since paved her own path while holding the opportunities and friendships close to her heart.

“I joined Inklings because I had an interest in English,” Simons said. “I stayed because of the relationships I formed.”
