Children weave love during Looms of Love fundraiser

After children made a bracelet, they filled out a card with their name to attach and send with the bracelet. This photo features fourth grader William Burger, who came all the way from New Canaan to make bracelets for the event, filling out a card.

Winged Monkey held the Looms of Love event from 12-4 p.m. on Nov. 17, 2013 to raise money for the Circle of Care organization, which helps children with cancer. The event invited people to the store on the Post Road in Westport to shop and make rainbow looms to donate to children with cancer as a holiday gift. The store also sold raffle tickets for merchandise and donated 20 percent of its profit to the Circle of Care organization that day.
