Anastasia Thumser ’22 has just begun Advanced Journalism as a passionate Web Opinions Editor. She was eager to start writing after being involved in the Bedford Middle School newspaper. 

“I’ve always been interested in Journalism,” Thumser said. However, Thumser’s only passion isn’t journalism. She is a swimmer for the Staples girls’ swim team and has been competitively swimming for 5 years. She finds that swimming is a good way to de-stress after long academic days. Thumser also enjoys baking in her free time. Thumser can dive into anything she sets her mind to.
