Lexie Moskovit ’21 is coming into her first year at Inklings, but her second year as a journalist. Her initial interest to join Inklings stemmed from her involvement in Intro to Journalism as a freshman. This year, Moskovit’s looks to dive head first in to sports stories, which she has grown a strong liking to. She specifically is eager to get started on writing game recaps and breaking news stories on athletes. Moskovit’s love for sports stories is rooted from her involvement in three different sports: soccer, basketball and lacrosse. However, out of the three, her love for lacrosse prevails over the rest. “I really like the team environment and the satisfaction of scoring a goal, Moskovit said. Along with the athletic rigour that Moskovit is used to, this year she looks to challenge herself academically as well. “My biggest goal is to become a better writer and get good grades.”
