Assistant Business Manager, Emma Dantas ’21 is eager to continue her writing with Inklings. Her original motivation to join Inklings was to be a part of a club associated with Staples since she competitively swims outside of school.
Dantas chose to be part of the business team so she could be exposed to more than just the writing aspect. Although she currently works on the business side, she still has a passion for writing, especially in the arts.
“After taking Intro to Journalism, I wanted to continue exploring journalism and reporting. I really love discovering new music, so I definitely want to write about that,” Dantas said.
Dantas is looking forward to a great first year in Advanced Journalism. Although the balance between business and writing may be difficult, she is determined to continue developing in both areas.
