Maya Reiner ’21
Maya Reiner ’21 knew she wanted to get involved with Inklings even before she came to Staples. Her love for writing and her brother’s experience was what made her want to join.
Before even taking the Advanced Journalism class, Reiner applied to be the Web Arts and Entertainment Editor and received the position. She is now beginning her first full year of Inklings and will begin to write for the paper.
Reiner juggles Inklings, field hockey and lacrosse year round. She makes sure to stay active, so she plays both field hockey and lacrosse for both Staples and club teams. She is also involved in the STEM Journal club and Best Buddies after school. “I joined the STEM Journal club because it also allows me to pursue my love of writing,” Reiner said.
Her favorite classes are math and Spanish. Outside of school, Reiner likes to spend time with her friends and family.
