The laws of fashion lifted

The laws of fashion, style, and society clearly states that no person shall dress in white jeans until Memorial Day weekend has passed. Such a rule has been in place for quite some time now, as only the most outlandish and criminal of persons dares to stray outside its boundaries and wear white jeans prematurely.

Now, I do have to admit I have been subject to such a crime in the past, which did not go unnoticed, as I was often mocked by my peers while strutting the Staples hallways in pre-season couture. I can tolerate dark denim during the cold and depressing winter months, however, this year, when the birds began to chirp and the flowers began to blossom, I found sanity amongst my pile of white pants.

Now, as the month has changed from May to June, it is safe to say that all those eager to break out the summer styles can do so safely without any retribution. Stores will be filled with new, white attire, and customers will dance proudly in the “correct season” couture.

As summer approaches, it is time for everyone to take advantage of the fresh summer fashions by sporting white jeans during the warm months ahead.
