The Chusid Family annually coordinates a holiday toy drive  and donates the toys to the less fortunate. the Rebecca Chusid Toy Drive, a non-profit organization, was started in 1995 by the Chusid family, consisting of parents Adam and Monica, and daughters Hannah ’09 and Jenna ’11. The drive was originally established in memory of Jenna’s late twin, Rebecca, who passed away in 1994. Since its creation, the drive has donated to over 13 different organizations including The Make a Wish Foundation, Trinity Productions, the Norwalk Kids in Crisis, etc. After the toys are collected, volunteers wrap and organize each and every gift before they are donated to the people. This year’s wrapping session was held at the Conservative Synagogue in Westport on December 13.
