    Mia Daignault ’20

Coming into her third year at Staples, Mia Daignault ’20 decided to further pursue her passion for writing by joining Inklings. She was inspired to take Advanced Journalism by her brother, who was a former member of Inklings.
As a staff writer, Daignault hopes that her love of English, her favorite class, carries over into writing for a newspaper. However, Daignault also feels that writing for Inklings will give her a new set of opportunities that the English classroom does not offer. “Inklings is a way for me to be more creative, compared to the structure of the classroom,” Daignault said.
As one of thirty cousins, Daignault is used to working with groups of large people, and hopes that those skills will carry over to the Inklings newspaper environment.
