Entering as a sophomore this school year, Rebecca Kanfer ’21 is an excited and passionate new staff writer. Kanfer has always had an interest in writing and enjoys the numerous and different amount of opportunities offered in Advanced Journalism. “You can write in your own style and choose topics that you find interesting,” Kanfer said. Additionally, Kanfer especially enjoys writing opinion pieces due to the freedom of expression it gives to the writer. Outside of school, one of Kanfer’s hobbies is traveling with her family to experience different cultures and meet new people. A quote that Kanfer lives by is to “live life to the fullest.”
