Hannah Schmidt ’19 is a first year staff writer for Inklings after taking Intro to Journalism last semester. “I really found a passion for journalism, so I thought this would be a great opportunity,” Schmidt said. As senior year goes on, Schmidt plans to take this year head on. “I’m trying to stay zen in school and focus on getting into college, which is terrifying, but so worth it,” Schmidt said.
Outside of the classroom, Schmidt participates on a competitive rock climbing team in Stamford. This is her final year on the team. One of her most memorable moments was when she won her first competition. “I don’t wanna call it a breakthrough moment, but it was the first time where I really felt like I was progressing,” Schmidt said.
