Since Dana Perelberg ’20 was a kid, she’s loved to write. What started as a love for fiction grew into a curiosity towards journalism, inspiring Perelberg to take Intro to Journalism her freshman year. Now, as a junior, Perelberg has fulfilled the position of Paper Features Editor. Features writing lets Perelberg be creative, a trait she values greatly. She has a love for fashion and style, and has taken art classes on fashion drawing. Though journalism and fashion are very different callings, Perelberg finds similarities in her passions. “They both allow me to have a creative outlet, but in different ways,” Perelberg said. “In art and fashion, you get to use your own ideas and creativity to tell a story, and in journalism you’re telling someone elses.” Whether she’s writing a feature or sketching a model, one thing is for sure; Perleberg’s enthusiasm will never go out of style.
