Sand and sea grass shows the remnants of the flood which affected coastal areas in Westport, Ct. on Wed., Feb. 27.

3:39 p.m. Saugatuck Shores is no stranger to the high winds, coastal flooding and washed up debris that seem to be hitting the area more and more frequently this year. Many residents are still in the midst of repairing the damage done by Hurricane Sandy. Today, two and a half weeks after the Blizzard Nemo, another storm has left its mark on the neighborhood. The storm that passed through Westport late last night left fallen trees and rainy weather in its wake. At press time, 63 Westport customers were without power.
