Inklings News

Sarah Sommer ’16, page editor and active member of the Inkling community, is participating in Inklings for her second year in a row. “I love being on Inklings” she said. “We are like a little family.”

She originally decided to join Inklings because her brother was on it before her and her mother is an author. Not surprisingly, her favorite classes in school are English, lang, and journalism. If her passion for writing is not clear enough, she also took classes in creative writing and literature over the summer at a summer program in Oxford, UK.

Besides participating in Inklings, Sarah also enjoys playing the guitar and and the cello, and is a member of the the Staples orchestra this year. She also has a radio show on WWPT and is very involved with the station.

Beyond the walls of Staples, Sarah has been to South Africa, which she calls the most beautiful place in the world.
