This year, Fitzpatrick decided to add to that already impressive repertoire by giving Inklings a shot.
A veteran member of Staples’ TV production course and a regular anchor on Staples Television Network (STN), Fitzpatrick had a good feeling about Inklings, figuring that she could utilize a similar skill-set.
“The moment I stepped into TV Production, I was like ‘Wait, this is so much more interesting than any class at Staples,” Fitzpatrick said. “From then on I fell in love with anything related to communications, and I know Inklings will be just as great of an experience.”
When not reporting Staples’ biggest news from the anchor desk of STN or the pages of Inklings, Fitzpatrick can be found under another spotlight, this time on the dance stage. “For me, dancing is such a creative outlet,” Fitzpatrick, who has been dancing since she was three, said. “Dancing is the perfect combination of art and sport. I couldn’t imagine my life without it.”
