
“My mother originally wanted me to [take journalism],” Dockter explained, “but now it's become so much fun.”
When she is not writing articles she can be found playing the cello, something she began in the fourth grade. She decided to take her talents to the next level just a year later when she began private lessons.
“I may not want to go into [journalism] in the future,” Dockter said, “but I think it's definitely providing many life skills.”
