Andreas Lolis ’21 was born in Stamford, Connecticut and lived in Fairfield, Connecticut until the age of seven, when he moved to Westport. Even at a young age, Lolis was captivated by learning, and this drive led him to read about topics of all sorts, ranging from politics to education. Lolis is an active participant in the debate club here at Staples, a group of students who compete on a monthly basis at different schools in the area.
Lolis joined Journalism because, while in middle school, he would pick up a monthly edition of Inklings on his ventures to Staples. This upcoming year, Lolis hopes to write a lot of articles, focusing in the Opinions and News sections mainly. Lolis is an extremely flexible writer, and is excited to expand his horizons this year. He said, “Look, whatever comes up, I’d be willing to take.”
