Green Day hits Wakeman Town Farm

Saturday, May 3, Wakeman Town Farm hosted a family-friendly event that lasted from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. It was attended by about 310 people, according to Michael Aitkenhead, Staples’ AP environmental science teacher who lives at and runs the farm. The event was meant to promote awareness of the environment and sustainability and was part of the weekend-long Green Day events around Westport.
