Students gathered in front of the school on Mon., June 11, to voice their opinions about Senate Bill 24 and specifically Act 12-116. The students protested from 7 a.m. to 7:35 a.m. and then staged a late walk- in to their classes. Mike Holtz ’13, Ben Reiser ’13 and Jordan Shenhar ’13 spoke in front of the 100 or so students who were protesting. The “I Am Not a Test Score” protest was formed by a group of students in A.P. English Language and Composition. ”We were showing the legislators that we do have a voice even if they aren’t going to ask us for it,” Will Horne ’13 said.

Well very interesting news. As i don’t have much idea about Act 12-116 but surely i can say what students had done is a better way to protest.

Not being a test score is a good move by the students and they should be taken as assets and nurtured in better manner rather than just going for there score evaluation. The topic needs thought as now large number of suffering cases have been observed throughout the world and hence needs an active step on behalf of tutors.

    Thanks
