Tierney Kugel ’22 is a pianist and a student journalist, among many other things. Kugel has played piano for five years, and enjoys it very much. “I feel like it’s sort of therapeutic,” Kugel said. “It’s easier to play piano after I’ve had a stressful day at school because it’s a completely different thing than doing homework.” This is Kugel’s first year taking Advanced Journalism, but she’s a Blue Arts Editor nonetheless. When asked why she decided to take Advanced Journalism, Kugel said, “I found out I really liked it in Intro [to Journalism], and I decided to maybe consider it as a career option.”
