Inklings News

Kaela Dockray ’20
Kaela Dockray ’20 embarks on her second year in Inklings with no shortage of passion as she assumes the position of news editor for the paper.
Dockray has always enjoyed writing and looks forward to expanding upon her writing in Advanced Journalism, as well as the class itself. “I just like the communal aspect of being here, and being a part of something, which I think is cool,” Dockray said.
Outside of the classroom setting, Dockray spent her summer in South Africa on a community service trip, where she helped lead camps for kids who didn’t have the benefit of a stable home life. During her time spent nearly 8,000 miles away, Dockray fostered a love of travel. “I just want to explore different parts of the world,” Dockray said.
