Inklings News

Ivy Prince ’17 is one of two web editors for the Inklings Arts & Entertainment section. This is her second year on the Inklings staff, after taking Introduction to Journalism herFreshman year, and deciding she “loved the do-it-yourself style of a student-run newspaper.”

When Ivy is not editing or writing stories for Inklings, she keeps herself very busy with sports.

This 2015 Fall season is her second season on varsity soccer, as one of the midfielders. She was also on the state championship winning girls’ track team.

She spent the summer of 2015 doing track programs at both Bowdoin College and Lehigh University. She does not plan to pursue journalism in college but says that the class “has taught me skills that I know will be valuable for the rest of my time in school.”

Prince is still deciding whether or not she wants to do a sport in college, however she does know that she would prefer to run track rather than play soccer.
