Sporting some colors nonexistent in the FCIAC while hitting balls at lighting speed, Westport Field Hockey held quite a unique tournament on Saturday, March 1. As a means of raising money for the local field hockey program, middle school and high school girls from teams as far as Pennsylvania came to compete. Players, used to playing on grass and turf had to become accustomed to the faster pace and smaller teams on the fieldhouse’s floor. The final winner was theCompetitive Edge Club team from Port Washington, N.Y.
