Jack Hennessy ’10, Paul Chandler ’10, John Foster ’10, Aaron Kliegman ’10 and Sam Zorfas ’10 will lead the boys’ varsity indoor track team this year.
“They are an extremely hardworking group,” said Coach Laddie Lawrence. The team is about to start its 41st season.

Though the team lost key seniors such as Obi Dan Udekwe ’09, Kyle Debussey ’09, Tomer Gat ’09 and Matt Marriott ’09, Lawrence is confident in his returnees this winter.

In his 29th year as head coach, Ed Huydic and the girls’ varsity basketball team look to qualify for the state tournament for the 27th year in a row.
Captains Suvi Puritpatarapan’10 and Maddy Krakowiak ’10 will lead the team against its toughest competition: Ridgefield, Danbury, Trinity Catholic and Stamford.
“It’s a very tight league,” Huydic said. “This year there is no powerhouse going into the season.”
