Mark Sanchez did his best Ryan Leaf impression going 10-29, for 119 yards and threw for five interceptions leading him to a 8.3 QB rating, dragging the Jets to a 16-13 overtime loss versus the Bills.

8.3? Dear current quarterback wearing No. 6. We want our star rookie back.

Meanwhile, running back Thomas Jones was having a career game rushing for 210 yards on 22 carries, resulting in a 9.5 rushing yard average.

Jones was the only bright spot in this game.

Usually the Jets can look to the defense, but Gang Green was sub par, letting the Bills come back in the second half and letting the Bills back up QB, Ryan Fitzpatrick, get a win. Some of the blame deserves to go to Mark Sanchez for keeping them on field for so long with his 5 interceptions.

Also, a big reason the Jets lost though is penalties. The Jets had 14 costing them 97 yards.

One holding penalty backed up the Jets 10 yards near the end of the half which backed up a field goal attempt which Jay Feely eventually missed. Another holding call in overtime backed the Jets up another 10 yard field goal attempt.

Both field goals could have won the Jets the game.

Now that the Jets have lost three straight and are now 3-3, is it time for Jets fans to panic?

The answer is no, not yet.

Bad games happen; the Jets Clearly had a bad game against the Bills, but it’s not the end of the season.

Sanchez is still the answer for the Jets QB; he is a rookie, and he is supposed to have bad games. Also, Eli Manning had four interceptions; three going for pick six’s versus the Vikings in the 2007 season. He eventually led them to a Super Bowl that year.

The Jets still have a fairly easy schedule facing the Raiders, Dolphins and Jaguars in the next upcoming three games. If the Jets could win all of those games or at least win two, then they will still look good.

Remember, the Dolphins started out 2-4 last year and still went on to 11-5 and conquered the division.
