Justin Bieber comes back stronger and isnt ‘Sorry’ about it

After a bad fall out, Justin Bieber comes back strong with a fresh haircut and a new album ‘Purpose’ which was released on November 13, 2015.

Back in 2014, Justin Bieber headed down hill in his career with numerous amount of arrests, a DUI, and a rebellious attitude. On top of all that he was caught doing drugs and partying every night, which negatively influenced his predominantly young audience. By going off the scene for a year to focus on his new album, Justin has built up suspense for his new come back at the VMAs (Video Music Awards) .

Justin cried on stage after his performance at the VMAs as he was finally able to share his new album after a rough last few years.

Staples students seem to have many different opinions on Justin’s new music and come back.

“I always followed his music. I think his new music is maturing as his audience is, and good for him for coming back after a bad time in his life,” Nevin Gordon ’19 said.

“I honestly think his new music is really good and catchy. I know a lot of people who like it. “I just think he’s a really cool dude,” Brandon Adrian ’18 said.  “Also I just think he’s a really cool dude.”

On the other hand some students have negative views on Justin.

“I really don’t care to be honest. I never really followed him or his music,” Matthew Tanzer ’19 said.

“I think it’s dumb and sounds like the rest of pop music,” Ethan Steur ’18 said.

However, there’s no denying the teen sensation’s success. He has become the youngest male artist to have a single debut at number one on the Hot 100 chart.

“What Do You Mean?”, a popular song in his  ‘Purpose’ album replaced The Weeknd’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” It also broke Spotify’s record and had the most successful first week for a single. It was streamed 21 million times in five days. ‘Purpose’ released on the same day as One Direction’s album beating them to number one on the billboard 200 charts. This is young 21-year-old Justin’s sixth number one album and fifth number one debut.

Justin Bieber definitely went through a rough patch but he isn’t ‘Sorry’ about his past and he is back stronger than ever.
