Valentine’s Day Chocolate Bar

Although Valentine’s Day is the holiday of love, roses and relationships, it is also the holiday of chocolate. Valentine’s Day has become synonymous with boxed chocolates, truffles, and chocolate bars. Choosing where to buy such treats, however, can be complicated and sometimes even daunting. Luckily, Fairfield County offers a wide variety of options for Staples students to choose from.

Isabel et Vincent

Isabel et Vincent is a traditional French Patisserie located in downtown Fairfield. The store is stocked with hand-made chocolates, truffles, and ice cream made daily by native French bakers, one of whom, Vincent Koenig, is a seventh generation chocolatier.

“I love their truffles,” Kari Flicker ’15 said. “Isabel et Vincent is classier than CVS, which is good because you have to treat yourself for Valentine’s Day.”
