With finals quickly approaching and temperatures heating up, we all need a little cold summer snack to get us through the day. Here’s a recipe for the most delicious greek yogurt berry popsicles, which are totally healthy and filling.

Here’s what you’ll need to make these delicious popsicles, it’s only three ingredients! You’ll need 2 tablespoons organic honey, 1/2 cup of any type of berries you prefer, and one package of full fat greek yogurt. Using full fat greek yogurt keeps you fuller for a longer period of time, and creates a creamier consistency.

The first step to making these pops is to make a kind of berry “compote.” Even though, according to Dictionary.com, a compote is “fruit stewed or cooked in syrup,” we’re making a healthier version by leaving out the added sugar.

After about five minutes, your berries should have cooked down and looked a little something like this. Continue to mix the compote, making sure to break up any large pieces of fruit. The berries will add great flavor to the pops, and according to everydayhealth.com, will promote heart health and provide a large dose of antioxidants.

Let the hot berries cool down for 10 minutes, then mix them into the greek yogurt along with two tablespoons of honey. Continue to mix the ingredients until everything is equally combined.

Carefully pour the yogurt mixture into your popsicle molds and put on the lid. At this point, you will place these popsicle molds into the freezer for two hours in order to let the popsicles firm up.

And there you have it! After a short two hours in the freezer, you will have a delicious, filling and amazingly healthful snack that’s perfect for getting through finals and the heat of the coming months. Enjoy!
