The dress was picked, the date was set, and the church had been chosen; now all that was left to do was get everyone there, but that was a lot easier said then done.

Pam (Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Kransinski) had been working together at Dunder Mifflin where first sparks of love were seen.

“4 years ago I was just a guy who had a crush on a girl who had a boyfriend. And I had to do the hardest thing I ever had to do, just to wait,” said Jim about Pam to his family and friends.

Jim waited patiently for Pam and her husband-to-be Roy to break up so that he could finally get a chance to ask the love of his life out on a date. While he was told Pam and him would never happen, his persistence paid off, now with a baby and wedding on the way.

The wedding was set for October 8, 2009 in Niagara Falls, New York. All office members were expected to be in attendance, which was sure to bring a lot of amusement and humiliation.

The rehearsal dinner was nothing of the normal family dinner. Jim slipped that Pam was pregnant and Michael Scott (Steve Carell) the co-manager of Dunder Mifflin attempted the worst and most embarrassing speech to cover up for Jim’s mistake.

The night continued with a dance party in room 639, the loss of shoes, and a trip to the hospital due to co-worker Andy’s (Ed Helms) pulled scrotom.

With tension flying between Pam, Jim, and their guests, they recalled their back up wedding plan and walked out on their own ceremony. Their escpae lead to a secret marriage under the mist of Niagara Falls.

“The boat was actually Plan C, the church was Plan B, and Plan A was marrying her a long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her,” said Jim.

While their private ceremony was as romantic as one could guess, their arrival back at the church was not so romantic.

A turtle from Dwight Schrute (Rainn Wilson) another Dunder Mifflin employee escaped its box, and their wedding day nightmare came true.

Bride’s maids, best man’s, and the entire Dunder Mifflin group reenacted the “Forever” by Chris Brown wedding dance down the aisle.

By this time, wedding presents were not expected to be anything of the norm. Believing that all of his ideas are unique, Michael sure did make a statement with his wedding gift.

“I give them cash every week. So, how much cash does a person need? I have taken it on myself to do something a little more special. I have painted a portrait of the two of them, from memory,” said Michael.

While the out of the ordinary and crazy actions by the co-workers and family members, Pam and Jim found a way to move past and focus on each other.

Like co-worker Kevin Malone (Brian Baumgartner) said, “it was the best wedding [he’s] ever been to,” it was truly a special moment in T.V. history.
