An unexpected snowstorm this morning brought students out of their seats in the hope of an early dismissal. However, Superintendent Elliott Landon did not grant their wishes.
This morning, there was heavy traffic on Colony Road, North Avenue and Cross Highway. Many students were in need of late passes as many arrived after the 7:30 bell.
As several surrounding school districts such as Wilton, Ridgefield and Shelton had early dismissals.
Landon has yet to declare any form of snow delay or cancellation during the 2009-2010 school year.
