Also in attendance were Superindendant Elliott Landon, Principal John Dodig, and several vice-principils. In addition, a few returning teachers briefly came in to greet their new colleagues.

12:53 p.m. During the weeks prior to the new school year, custodians complete their own summer assignments; cleaning out offices and classrooms.  To polish floors, the custodians move furniture and other such items into the hallways.
